Love
"Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all of your mind and with all of your strength." Mark 12:30
Jesus says this is the most important commandment for each of us. Loving God with all that we are and all that we have. It seems that when love dies it is because of neglect. We see it in marriage relationships as husbands and wives begin to take each other for granted. It also happens in our relationship with our God. We must focus on keeping the Lord as the focus of our lives.

Experience baptism
Baptism is a command of Jesus Christ for every Christian. It is the public display of the inward decision that a person has made to follow Jesus. It illustrates Christ’s burial and resurrection. “For when you were baptized, you were buried with Christ, and in baptism you were also raised with Christ.” Colossians 2:12
It also illustrates my new life as a Christian. “By our baptism then, we were buried with Him and shared His death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead: so also we may live a new life!” Romans 6:4
If you desire to obey the command of Jesus and be baptized, then we invite you to contact one of our pastors or deacons.
Become a church member
We receive people into membership at FLBC in three ways:
-
Profession of faith in Jesus Christ and baptism. The key to membership is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
-
Transfer of Church Letter from another Baptist Church.
-
Statement, that is, their testimony that they have received Jesus as their Personal Lord and Savior and have experienced Believer's Baptism by immersion.
